Wonderful news! This needs to be a major priority. This city desperately needs a Metrorail line to South Beach.

THis is the kind of things we need to address, a link between downtown Miami and the beach would be great for locals and residents. This would not only be a great benefit to Miami and Miami Beach but also to all of Miami-Dade County. Hopefully this time our elected official can see it thru.

Why? Does Miami Beach need more people to sip $20 Martinis? Miami Beach is perfectly crowded already. The government doesn’t NEED to take money from everyone to satisfy a few selfish people. If you want to go to Miami Beach, pay your own way.
What a terrible way to spend $100M+ that we don’t have.

You must surely realize that people do commute between the Miami and Miami Beach daily for WORK, and the rail link is needed precisely because both places are crowded and the causeways are too congested?
